Wedding Plans

We both were so excited to plan our big day that we began the day after our engagement by reserving our spot for the ceremony!

We will be getting married in Western NY at a winery by the name of Merritt Estates. The ceremony will be small with close family and friends, and will be held under a large walnut tree.

We plan to have an Engagement gathering in both Virginia and New York prior to the ceremony. This will allow us to celebrate with all of our family and friends, as the ceremony itself will be more intimate.

We will begin our adventure on the eastern shore of Virginia at an engagement party hosted by Chad's parents. We plan to spend the next few days enjoying the beaches and waters on the Chesapeake Bay with our families.

Next we will head North and enjoy an engagement party in Amy's hometown hosted by her sister. We plan to have a bonfire and partake in Amy's, and many other's, favorite foods in the area.

During the week before the Wedding we will enjoy a bachelorette/bachelor tour of the wine trail, including the Estate where we will be married.

On the big DAY, we plan to have an evening Wedding with lilac flowers, lots of lighting, a five star buffet, amazing baked goods by a local Swedish bakery, and a tour of the winery.

Finally, we will spend time celebrating our marriage camping at Allegheny state park where Amy spent many summers.
